Know your IKIGAI

IKIGAI is a Japanese word that means knowing the purpose of your life.
For this, simply ask four questions for yourself because when you answer these questions, you will be able to know the purpose.
The questions are:

1- What are you good at?

2 – What do you love doing?

3 – What you can be paid for?

4 – What is that which world’s needs?

In this formula P stands for PASSION M stands for MISSION P stands for PROFESSION V stands for VOCATION

The most common option in all options is the best option in order to choose a career.

Do your SWOT analysis

SWOT analysis is a 3 dimensional analysis of yourself based on 4 categories. We just need to divide the page in 4 quadrants by making a horizontal and vertical like intersect in the center. Further, mention 4 things in each quadrant.

S – Strengths (Mention the strengths of yours on the basis of what you are doing SWOT analysis)

O – Opportunities (Mention the opportunities you have on the basis of what you are doing SWOT analysis)

T – Threats (Mention the threats you may face on the basis of what you are doing SWOT analysis)

This will help you to be aware of yourself and plan proactively.

Have smart goals

Now when you know about what you want to do. You need to make your goals. The goals need to be SMART

Firstly, S is for specific which means that your goals need to be direct, detailed, and meaningful like real numbers with real deadlines.
Secondly, M is mea
surable which means that your goal should be quantifiable so that you can track the progress or success.
Thirdly, A is achi
evable and actionable which means that your goal should be challenging and also there should be a possibility to achieve it. We need to describe the initial action plan in detail.
Further, R is rel
evant and realistic  which means it should be sensible enough as per the industry. You should know what you and your team is capable of and it should be really possible to achieve the goal.

Lastly, T is for timebound which means there should be specific deadlines to accomplish the task.

Take Action No Procrastination

Procrastinating is the act of delaying or postponing something for long. It may be related to any career-related tasks or health-related tasks.

Do you want to know the method? The method is known as the RFPA method. R- Recognize – You need to recognize that you are procrastinating.

F – Find – Once you have recognized that you are procrastinating then you need to find the reason and a task which you are procrastinating. In this, you also need to know the type of procrastination that is done by you.

P- Plan – Here the planning needs to be done for setbacks for which you first need to forgive yourself for procrastinating then Analyze what went right and what needs to be improved.

A – Adopt – After finding the reason now you need to adopt a strategy through which we can deal with the procrastination of the tasks. The strategy simply starts from the correct mindset which is 100 % committed and 0 comfort zone.

Manage Time Using 135 Schedule

135 schedule is one which says a To-Do list should consist of limited tasks. The tasks should be aligned according to your energy level in a day.
In this formula 1 means 1 Big
Task that should be the first thing on your To-Do list. The time assigned to do this task should be when you have high energy. In general, the morning time, but can vary from person to person.

3 means 3 Medium Tasks that should be done once the high task on your To-Do list is done. The time assigned should be when you have medium energy. In general the afternoon time.

5 means 5 Easy Tasks that should be last on your To-Do list and the time assigned should be when you have low energy. In general the evening time.

Keep learning & be out of the comfort zone

Keep learning is one of the important things which can really take you far in your career. Many candidates just do a degree program and do not give due importance to updating the skills. If a candidate wants to grow the only way is keep yourself updated with new things coming up in the market.

For learning, you need to come out of your comfort zone, which means you need be at learning phase every time.

Feed your body and brain correctly

Feed your body- We need to feed our body correctly as if the body is working fine then we can be more focused and do work with more concentration. Keeping a track of our body strong by being hydrated, having a balanced diet and with physically being active.

Feed your mind- We need to feed our brain also just like our body as the mind is from where everything starts. Feeding our brain by doing proper rest, which is possible with 6 to 8 hours of sleep. Meditating atleast for 10 minutes per day for decluttering our mind. The last thing is we should keep ourselves positive and remind us of what we need to do with a mission statement.
